Rates, Deposits & Payment Information

My hourly rate is $175/hr. + $30 supply fee + tax. Time starts when the tattoo begins, not when you arrive at the studio. When I’m travelling, my hourly rate is raised to $185/hr.

Flash or Pre-Drawn designs have a fixed price + $30 supply fee + tax and aren’t subject to the hourly rate unless otherwise stated.

Freehand tattoos have a drawing rate of $75/hr. This rate is only applied when I am drawing the design on your skin. Additionally, if the stencil application takes longer than 30 minutes, this rate will also be applied.

Small alterations can be made to the design at the time of the appointment, but bigger changes may be subject to a $50 drawing fee.

I offer free touch ups to all my clients within the first 6 months upon receiving your tattoo, as long as it is well healed. Touch ups on tattoos older than 6 months or that were not healed well will be charged a supply fee ranging from $35 - $70 and must pay a $25 deposit to hold their appointment. In this case, I recommend getting a touch up during your next tattoo appointment with me, to save cost and materials. :)

Rescheduling & Cancelation Policies

I understand that life can get in the way and emergencies happen, so please reach out and let me know if you need to reschedule as soon as possible!!

  1. Clients have a minimum of 48 hours notice to reschedule their appointment.

  2. In the event of a late cancelation or a no-show, the deposit will be forfeit. Another deposit will need to be paid in order to book another appointment, and clients may have to wait until the next booking period.

  3. Clients can only reschedule their appointment once! Multiple reschedules may require another deposit in order to re-book, and clients may have to wait until the next booking period if the schedule is currently closed.

These policies are in place to secure appointment times and deter clients from skipping their appointments without notice. Deposits compensate my drawing time and supplies in case a client fails to show up to their appointment.

tattoo studio etiquette

I am currently an artist at Invictus Arts! Check out the Location page for more info on how to get there!

  1. Please reschedule your appointment if you or anyone you have been in direct contact with have been sick or are feeling unwell! Masks are optional, please let me know if you’d feel more comfortable with me wearing one at your appointment!

  2. Please try not to show up more than 10 minutes early or 15 minutes late! If you are running late please message me on instagram (@kay.pokes) or send me an email!

  3. Due to the nature of tattooing, clients are advised to book appointments on days when they have no other obligations and will not be in a rush. It is possible that clients may be asked to wait up to an hour if I’m running behind. Please be prepared to wait just in case!

  4. Please eat a big breakfast/lunch one hour before your tattoo. If you have a long appointment, feel free to bring water and your favorite snacks, ideally something sugary.
Do NOT show up on an empty stomach or hungover!

  5. Please ask before bringing friends, family and loved ones with you to your appointment!

Check out the location page for more information!
